Silicon Valley Season 5 Teaser And Premiere Date Unveiled
You could call it Silicon Valley 2.0.
HBO announced the upcoming fifth season of the critically acclaimed comedy will return March 25, and it'll be the first without former regular T.J. Miller, who left the show in May. But there will still be plenty of awkward to go around.
In the first teaser (above), we get a look at most of the returning players on the show centered on a high-tech startup. The fourth season ended with Pied Piper founder Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) running into some snags as he tries to reinvent the internet as we know it. Meanwhile, Jared (Zach Woods) planned to leave the company and Gavin (Matt Ross) was being reinstated as the CEO of Hooli. When Gavin threatened to destroy Pied Piper, Richard promised to make Hooli obsolete.
Created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, Silicon Valley has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series at the Emmys every year since it debuted in 2014, but it hasn't won yet. It co-stars Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, Suzanne Cryer, and Jimmy O. Yang.
