Emily Blunt Boards Dwayne Johnson's Jungle Cruise

Emily Blunt is packing for another trip to the Disney universe.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has signed on to star opposite Dwayne Johnson in Jungle Cruise, a movie based on the classic Disneyland ride.

Jaume Collet-Serra (The ShallowsThe Commuter) will direct the live-action adventure. Although plot details are still firmly under wraps, the ride takes park visitors on a journey through the rivers of the world including the Nile in Africa and the Amazon in South America. 

Blunt previously appeared in Disney's Into the Woods and stars in the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns, which is due out in December. 

Meanwhile, Johnson just scored a hit with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and he's set to star in the video game adaptation Rampage

Production on Jungle Cruise is expected to begin this spring.
