Watch The Eerie Super Bowl Trailer For A Quiet Place

Silent is spooky in the newest teaser for John Krasinski's horror flick A Quiet Place. The former The Office actor wrote, directed, and stars in A Quiet Place opposite his real-life wife Emily Blunt.

A Quiet Place follows a family who live on a haunted farm where the paranormal creatures are attracted by noise. Because of this, they try to keep as silent as they can, using sign language to communicate and being sure to avoid all potential scratches, bangs, and clangs. However, as the trailer shows, even this can't stop the demon from finding them.

A Quiet Place is set to debut at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas in March. "Not only do we love its originality, suspense and amazing cast, we love seeing artists stretch and explore," said Janet Pierson, SXSW's director of film, when announcing that the movie would open the festival. (via Entertainment Weekly) "While this is not Krasinki's first feature as writer and director, it's an exciting evolution for this multi-talented artist."

Krasinski's co-writers for A Quiet Place are Impulse's Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. The Night Manager's Noah Jupe and Wonderstruck's Millicent Simmonds also star in the film, which will be released in theaters on April 6. You can view a new poster for the film below.
