Money Heist Trailer Teases Explosive End For Massive Bank Robbery

The Money Heist will end chaotically.

Netflix has released a new trailer for the second and final batch of episodes for the Spanish series Money Heist

Originally known as La Casa de Papel, the series has notched rave reviews from viewers since debuting to an international audience, being compared favorably to the best the "heist movie" genre has to offer. Get the team together and check out the trailer up above.

Created by Álex Pina, the series follows a group of eight skilled robbers led by a mercurial professor who come together to knock over the Royal Mint of Spain in the greatest bank robbery of all time. Their long-term plan requires 11 days of effort, fending off the police and managing dozens of hostages as they work their way into and out of the vaults with a multi-billion Euro haul.

The cast for the series, led by Úrsula Corberó, includes Itziar Ituño, Álvaro Morte, Paco Tous, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores and more.

Like many foreign-language series being released internationally, Money Heist has changed a bit since its original 2017 run as La Casa de Papel. While the original series was composed of a single season of 15 episodes, the series has had its episodes edited for global release from lengths of 60-70 minute to 40-50 minutes, making for more episodes of shorter length for global audiences.

13 episodes are currently available on English Netflix, with the remainder of the episodes in the limited series set for release on April 6.

The series is available right now in its original version on Spanish and French Netflix — everyone else will have to wait for the streaming service to drop the series' second half next month.
