New Teen Titans GO! To The Movies Trailer Unleashed
Justice League who?
The Teen Titans are headed to Hollywood in the newest trailer for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, Warner Bros. Animation's upcoming cartoon adventure flick starring the DC Comics crew.
Packed with all the sassy brashness and family-friendly antics one would expect from the titular superhero squad, the new Teen Titans GO! to the Movies footage sets up the premise of the film: The Teens realize that the only way they can break into the mainstream and have the world truly care about them is to star in their own movie — one that doesn't feature de facto crew leader Robin (voiced by Scott Menville) acting as a simple sidekick to Batman. In order to get what they desire, the Teens band together to face off against the movie industry's biggest and most powerful executives.

Directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail from a script Horvath co-wrote with Michael Jelenic, Teen Titans GO! to the Movies features a voice cast including Hynden Walch as Starfire, Tara Strong as Raven, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Will Arnett as Robin's archnemesis Slade, Kristen Bell as famous filmmaker Jade Wilson, Lil Yachty as Green Lantern, Halsey as Wonder Woman, and Nicolas Cage as Superman.
Here's the full plot synopsis for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies: "When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! Teen Titans GO! to the Movies finds our egocentric, wildly satirical superheroes in their first feature film extravaganza — a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass, and tongue-in-cheek play on the superhero genre, complete with musical numbers. It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies — everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!"
Teen Titans GO! to the Movies is slated for a July 27 release.
