Star Wars: Rogue One Poster, Behind The Scene Video Revealed
Lucasfilm unleashed a bounty of new details about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and from the looks of the movie poster and behind-the-scenes footage, we've never seen Star Wars quite like this.
Filmmakers unveiled the official poster and a behind-the-scenes video from director Gareth Edwards' upcoming standalone prequel at the annual Star Wars Celebration in London. Set between the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) and Episode IV: A New Hope (1977), Rogue One focuses on the Rebel Alliance as it plans to steal the Death Star – something referenced in the opening crawl of A New Hope – and Edwards has said it will be more grounded (as opposed to flying through space) than previous installments.
The movie poster is unlike anything we've seen in the Star Wars universe. It depicts a tropical paradise with pristine waters as Shoretroopers fire upon the film's core of ragtag heroes with the massive Death Star looming overhead.

The behind-the-scenes video is even more tantalizing. It showcases a ton of new footage along with appearances by cast and crew, including confirmation that Warwick Davis (who played the Ewok Wicket in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi when he was a child) has a role in the film set for release Dec. 16.
