Ghost Rider Will Be 'Violent' On Agents Of SHIELD
There will be a new face on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 4, but that's only when it's not immersed in flames.
Entertainment Weekly has the first official pic of actor Gabriel Luna as the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider, and Marvel released "found footage" of the anti-hero. Well, it's actually footage of his muscle car.
Executive producer Jed Whedon told EW the show will put a "unique spin" on the classic comic book character. "We are staying true to the comics in the places where we feel like it's really important," he said. "We love the character's family dynamic and the East L.A. kid in him."
Whedon told TVLine that one aspect of Ghost Rider will definitely remain. "He's a violent character who comes with a lot of blood and a lot of fire," he said. "His skull will be on fire exactly as much as we can afford!"
According to the official synopsis (via MCUExchange) for "Ghost," the season premiere, Fear the Walking Dead's Lorenzo James Henrie will also appear as Ghost Rider's younger brother, Gabe Reyes.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to ABC on Sept. 20. Check out what the inclusion of Ghost Rider means for the show.
