Twin Peaks: Watch The Cryptic New Teaser For Showtime's Reboot

If you're hoping for a lot of straightforward answers and revealing details about the reboot of Twin Peaks, you probably never saw the original show.

Showtime unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming series from David Lynch, and it's just as vague and unnerving as the short-lived cult classic. The clip is centered around the return of composer Angelo Badalamenti, and (aside from that old photo of Laura Palmer) he's the only person we see. Watch it above.

There's no hint about a release date, although USA Today's Gary Levin reported that the new series will most likely arrive in June. And we still don't know how many new episodes we'll get, either.

One thing we do know is that nearly everyone with a SAG card will appear in the reboot. In addition to returning cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Madchen Amick, and Sherilynn Fenn, there are more than 200 actors and musicians confirmed for the series (via Deadline). The list includes Michael Cera, Laura Dern, David Duchovny, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Peter Sarsgaard, and Amanda Seyfried along with Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor.
