William Shatner To Voice Two-Face In Animated Batman Sequel

It's never too early to bring William Shatner into the mix.

Although the animated movie Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders won't arrive until Nov. 1, producers already announced at New York Comic-Con that there will be a sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Perhaps even bigger news, however, is that the iconic Star Trek actor will provide the voice of the villainous Two-Face.

If you're just hearing about the first movie, Return of the Caped Crusaders brings back Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin), and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) to reprise their roles from the '60s Batman TV series. It's a campy, light-hearted take on the classic DC Comic, and it sounds like Shatner will fit right in.

This means that both Captain Kirk and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) will have provided the voice for animated Batman villains. Hamill played the Joker on Batman: The Animated Series.

The sequel to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders will be released in 2017. Watch the trailer for the initial installment above and find out why we probably shouldn't expect Ben Affleck's Batman solo flick anytime soon.
