Stranger Things Season 2 Episode Titles Reveal Major Clues
When Netflix confirmed that Stranger Things would return for a second season, the announcement came with a cryptic teaser including the titles for each of the new episodes. While each one obviously hints about potential storylines, the Duffer brothers told The Hollywood Reporter that everything in the teaser is "major." But here's a twist: the titles might change.
"Netflix had another teaser, but it was about going back to stuff that had happened already," Matt Duffer said. "I thought it wasn't exciting enough, and we wanted to provide some hint of where we were going in Season 2 without giving anything away. I do think some of the titles will change. There were titles we didn't want to put on there because we felt like it would give too much away... they're ambiguous enough that no one is going to be able to figure it out."
Still, the showrunners said a few theories they've read online definitely come close. "Some of the fan theories online are amazing," said Matt Duffer. "Most are wrong, but I've read a few that are right or very close. Is it Reddit? Some of those people have figured stuff out based off of the chapter titles."
If you don't want to watch the teaser (above), the titles are "Madmax," "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," "The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain," and "The Lost Brother." Some are clearly more vague than others.
While we wait to see which ones stick, check out easter eggs you totally missed in Season 1, and the cast's bold predictions about Season 2.
