Game Of Thrones Set Video Confirms The Return Of Gendry
Contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7
After spending three seasons rowing, Gendry must be ripped.
We haven't seen the illegitimate son of Robert Baratheon since the Season 3 finale, when Davos put him (Joe Dempsie) in a rowboat and helped him escape Melisandre and her leeches. But a new video from the set in Spain reveals that Gendry will finally make landfall, and it's right back where he started on the shores of Dragonstone.
He was supposed to go to King's Landing, so either his sense of direction is pretty awful, he never really left, or something brought brought him back.
Watchers on the Wall reports that Dempsie was spotted on the set in Spain, and the site posted video of filming for a scene that includes Gendry's pal Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). In the scene, Gendry uses a warhammer (just like his dad) to escape from a pair of Goldcloaks. But it looks like he just can't get away from that boat.
Watch the video below and check out more characters who were missing from Season 6. Meanwhile, we know the upcoming seventh season will be shorter than usual and a few months late.
