Spider-Man: Homecoming Teaser Reveals New Suit With Web Wings

Spider-Man: Homecoming will land in theaters this summer, and the first trailer is just a day away.

The official Twitter for the upcoming flick announced the trailer will debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (Dec. 8). As a teaser, Marvel and Sony offered up a brief but tantalizing glimpse at what's to come.

It confirms previous reports that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will give Peter Parker (Tom Holland) an upgraded suit, complete with web wings that will allow Spidey to glide. The design is reminiscent of early Spider-Man comics, in which the teenage web slinger often sported similar wings under his arms.

The footage is shot mostly from Parker's point of view, and it features Stark's driver Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) pointing out a case that contains a more high-tech outfit than the one Spidey has been wearing. It's apparently even more advanced than the one Stark gave "Underoos" in Captain America: Civil War.

And Spider-Man will probably need it for Homecoming. He'll face Vulture (Michael Keaton), and it's likely that the battle will be even more high-flying than usual.

The movie is slated for release July 7, 2017. While we wait for the trailer, check out the insane history of Spider-Man.
