The Lego Ninjago Movie Trailer And Poster Revealed
One of the great things about the LEGO movie universe is that there's always another world to build.
Warner Bros. unveiled the first official trailer for The LEGO Ninjago Movie, and it confirms that the flick retains all the humor, amazing visuals, and inherent cuteness of both The LEGO Movie and the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie. It also makes the best use of a Taylor Swift song you'll hear all week.
The LEGO Ninjago TV series has been around since 2011, but the big screen adaptation brings on a new crop of talent. In the movie, an ancient master named Sensei Wu (Jackie Chan) assembles a secret ninja force to battle the dark forces of Lord Garmadon (Justin Theroux). One of the recruits (Dave Franco) just so happens to be the Garmadon's son. The cast also includes Olivia Munn, Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani, and Michael Pena.
Charlie Bean (The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack) co-directs with Paul Fisher and Bob Logan. The LEGO Movie's Phil Lord and Chris Miller serve as producers.
The film opens September 22. Meanwhile, check out the official poster below, along with the untold truth of The LEGO Movie.
