Aquaman Gets His Own Justice League Poster

Although Batman and Superman tend to get most of the headlines, Aquaman already looks poised to steal the show in the upcoming ensemble Justice League.

Warner Bros. released a new poster (below) that features Jason Momoa as the classic DC superhero, and it offers our best look yet at his costume. While most of the photos and footage we've seen so far have depicted Aquaman in infinite shades of gray, the poster shows that his outfit actually has subtle tinges of green and yellow, slightly in keeping with the way it's traditionally looked in the comics.

The poster also gives a lot of space to Aquaman's Trident of Neptune. In the comics (and presumably in Justice League), it gives Aquaman the power to control the seas. You can see a little of what he can do with it in the latest trailer teaser.

We'll get a formal introduction to Momoa's incarnation of the character alongside Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and the Flash (Ezra Miller) in Justice League, then he'll headline his own movie on Dec. 21, 2018. Odds are that we'll see posters spotlighting each of the individual heroes soon. While we wait, check out what we know about Justice League so far.
