Marvel's Inhumans Gets A New Logo
Marvel is slowly beginning to release more information about the upcoming Inhumans series, with a new logo released as the show is filming in Hawaii. While we still don't know exactly Inhumans will fit in in ABC's fall release schedule yet, we do know when it will premiere its first two episodes in IMAX in September, as part of the show's unusual big screen release strategy.
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created the Inhumans in 1965. While specific plot details for the TV series are unknown, it is set to "explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family." The cast includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Graceland) as his wife Medusa, Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as his brother Maximus, and Ken Leung (Lost) as his cousin and trusted advisor Karnak. Isabelle Cornish, Eme Ikwuakor, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores, and Ellen Woglom fill out the cast.
The show will have an eight-episode run on ABC after the IMAX premiere, which came into the picture after the planned movie about the Inhumans was canceled. The IMAX debut should help to give Inhumans some added name recognition and will hopefully give the series a bigger debut than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the other Marvel property currently airing on ABC. It also hints that the show will be on a much bigger scale than its Marvel predecessor, with the short episode order promising big budget, high octane productions each week.
You can check out the new logo above; hopefully, we will get to see some other official images from the show soon. While we wait for Inhumans to hit theaters and later screens, find out why the show will be better than you think.
