Noomi Rapace Returns In New Alien: Covenant Spot

We haven't heard from Dr. Elizabeth Shaw since the end of Prometheus, and a new TV spot for Alien: Covenant hints that she hasn't been having a stellar time.

While there have been plenty of trailers and teasers for the upcoming sequel, Noomi Rapace's character has been conspicuously absent. We know she appears in the flick, although MovieWeb reported a while back that she only shows up briefly.

In the new spot (below), we only see Dr. Shaw as a hologram, and she's seemingly restrained in a manner that can't be comfortable. The last time we saw Shaw, she and the head of android David (Michael Fassbender) were boarding a ship to travel to the Engineers' home world in search of answers. We know David gets his body back in Alien: Covenant, but it may have come at the expense of some experimentation on Shaw. Androids, man. Can't live with them, can't trust them not to ruin human existence.

Alien: Covenant, also starring Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, and Danny McBride, lands in theaters May 19. While we have high hopes for the flick, check out some things that could possibly ruin it.
