Ryan Reynolds And Samuel L. Jackson Bicker In NSFW Hitman's Bodyguard Trailer
Samuel L. Jackson has quite a few curse words for Ryan Reynolds in the new trailer for their action comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard.
In the film, Reynolds plays an "executive protection agent" hired to protect Jackson's character, who is the self-proclaimed "most-wanted hit man in the world." Reynolds is tasked with getting Jackson safely to the International Court of Justice so that he can testify against a dictator, played by Gary Oldman. Although from the trailer, it doesn't look like this will be as easy as it sounds.
The trailer, hilariously set to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," features quite a lot of action from Reynolds and Jackson. But the real highlight is the snappy dialogue between the two. A lot of that seems to come from Jackson's continued love of his favorite Snakes on a Plane vocab, with Reynolds saying, "This guy singlehandedly ruined the word mother f***er."
Elodie Yung, Salma Hayek, Joaquim de Almedia, Kirsty Mitchell, and Sam Hazeldine also star in the movie, which was directed by The Expendables 3's Patrick Hughes based on a script from Fire with Fire's Tom O'Connor.
The Hitman's Bodyguard is due out on August 18. While we wait, check out the other movies that are going to blow you away this summer.
