Kingsman: The Golden Circle Teaser Features Action, Explosions, And Channing Tatum

A Kingsman: The Golden Circle trailer may be on its way.

Franchise star Taron Egerton released a cryptic video on his Twitter account featuring some very, very quick glimpses at the film, which may hint that more footage is to come in the next few days.

The short, 15-second clip shows a number of scenes from the movie flashing by, with the words "a proper spy movie" interspersed throughout. A close look reveals scenes featuring Channing Tatum as Agent Tequila, Halle Berry as tech expert Ginger, Jeff Bridges as the head of the Statesmen, and Julianne Moore as the villainess Poppy.

The scenes also give a hint at Poppy's plan, showing a number of businesses and products with her name on it, and also showing the villainess speaking to a man with a robotic arm in a bowling alley (a man who is later seen with her again in what appears to be a movie theater). In addition to car chases, explosions, and an oddly high number of butterflies, the teaser also reveals that someone will be stopping by the Oval Office, although it's tough to see who's sitting behind the desk. (It could, potentially, be Sir Elton John, whose role in the movie has yet to be revealed, although that's probably unlikely for the famous Brit.)

Writer and director Matthew Vaughn recently said that the sequel will be "bigger and bolder and funnier and crazier" than the original, adding that Egerton's Eggsy will face a "huge moral dilemma" as he and some of the other Kingsmen travel to America to team up with the Statesmen to take down Poppy, who Vaughn says is "America's sweetheart gone wrong."

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is due out in theaters on Sept. 29. While we wait, see the other movies that are going to blow you away this year.
