Marvel's Inhumans Releases First Teaser
Maximus has an evil plan in the first teaser for Marvel's Inhumans. The teaser for the upcoming ABC series doesn't include any footage, just dialogue, but it definitely sets up what is sure to be an epic family drama.
"Are we supposed to follow our king and remain as silent as he is?" Maximus (played by Game of Thrones' Iwan Rheon) asks, as the image of the series' logo begins to appear on screen.
"You're talking about betraying your brother," a female voice, probably Serinda Swan's Queen Medusa, replies. "You're talking about treason."
"What I'm talking about is freedom," Maximus shoots back. "Freedom for all Inhumans."
ABC's Inhumans series, which came into the picture after the planned movie about the Inhumans was canceled, will see the royal family splintered by a military coup, forcing them to escape to Hawaii, where their interactions with humanity could not only save them, but the whole world. The show also stars Anson Mount as the royal family's silent leader Black Bolt, Isabelle Cornish as Medusa's younger sister Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as the leader of the Attilan military, Ken Leung as Black Bolt's trusted advisor Karnak, Mike Moh as Black Bolt's cousin Triton, Sonya Balmores as the no-nonsense head of the Royal Guards of Attilan, and Ellen Woglom as a new character created for the show.
Hopefully, we will see some actual footage from the series soon, although the small teaser should be enough to keep fans buzzing for quite a while. Inhumans will air its first two episodes for a two week period in IMAX theaters beginning Sept. 1 before concluding the rest of its run during ABC's fall season. While we wait for the series to premiere, see why it will actually be better than you think.
