Owen Wilson, Julia Roberts Star In Dramatic Wonder Trailer

You can't blend in when you were born to stand out in the first trailer for Wonder. The upcoming drama stars Room's Jacob Tremblay as a young boy struggling with a facial deformity. Luckily, though, he has the help and support of his parents, played by Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson.

"My name is Auggie Pullman," Tremblay begins the trailer. "Next week I start fifth grade and since I've never been to real school before I'm pretty much totally petrified." He goes on to explain that he has had 27 surgeries, but none of them have been able to make it look "ordinary."

Auggie's parents worry about kids at school bullying him, and the trailer immediately shows that, at least for some time, that is the case. "You are not ugly, Auggie," his mom tells him. Although some make fun of him for his appearance, Auggie quickly begins to make friends and appears to eventually find his place in the school.

Mandy Patinkin, Daveed Diggs, Sonia Braga, Izabela Vidovic, Danielle Rose Russell, Bryce Gheisar, and Noah Jupe also star in the movie, which is based on the trio of R.J. Palacio novels, Wonder, Auggie & Me, and 365 Days of Wonder. The movie was written by The Secret Life of Walter Mitty's Steve Conrad and directed by The Perks of Being a Wallflower's Stephen Chbosky; it will hit theaters on Nov. 17.
