Jeremy Renner And Elizabeth Olsen Hunt A Killer In Wind River Trailer

Avengers stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen play different kinds of heroes in the trailer for their upcoming thriller Wind River.

The trailer begins with Renner's Cory Lambert, an agent with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, finding a body in the icy wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. He calls on help from the authorities, who send in Olsen's Jane Banner, a young FBI agent. Cory quickly reveals that he knew the girl who was killed, calling her "a fighter," and he agrees to help Jane hunt the predator, even though he's just a tracker.

Jane begins to question what the murder victim was running from, but Cory cautions her, saying that, even though she's looking for clues, she's missing all the signs. The rookie repeatedly seeks help from outside sources, but she's told that the remote land isn't the place where people get help. "This isn't the land of back-up Jane," a local police officer tells her. "This is the land of you're on your own." 

Renner and Olsen's trip to the land where luck don't live is helmed by Sicario and Hell or High Water's Taylor Sheridan, who also penned the script. The movie also stars Jon Bernthal, Kelsey Chow, Julia Jones, Gil Birmingham, Martin Sensmeier, Eric Lange, James Jordan, Ian Bohen, Hugh Dillon, Graham Green, Matthew Del Negro, and Ted Briones. Wind River will hit theaters on Aug. 4; while we wait, see the other movies that will blow you away this summer.
