Fox Reportedly Adds Six Mystery Marvel Movies To Schedule

Sounds like the Marvel universe will continue to expand at a rapid pace.

According to Exhibitor Relations, 20th Century Fox has set release dates for six untitled Marvel films through 2021, and that doesn't include the three movies we already know are coming. The new dates are reportedly June 7, 2019; Nov. 22, 2019; March 13, 2020; June 26, 2020; Oct. 2, 2020; and March 5, 2021.

Before all that, Fox already has an especially ambitious 2018 planned. We'll see New Mutants on April 13, 2018; followed by Deadpool 2 on June 1, 2018; and X-Men: Dark Phoenix on Nov. 2, 2018. Clearly, the studio is trying to ride the wave of success from Deadpool and Logan.

So let's try to guess what those other six movies might be. One is obviously X-Force, the R-rated Avengers-type ensemble that will star Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Josh Brolin as Cable. We also know there will be a Deadpool 3 at some point. One of the mystery movies could be a sequel to New Mutants since director Josh Boone reportedly pitched the series as a trilogy. Then there's a chance we could finally see Channing Tatum's Gambit movie, which still doesn't have a director.

But that still leaves a few open spots. Could it be for another entry in the X-Men franchise? There's also been talk about an X-23 spinoff from Logan. We'll have to wait and see.

While we gather more clues, take a look at some movies that will blow everyone away in 2018.
