Gotham Season 4 Trailer Released
The Scarecrow is finally coming to Gotham. As revealed in the brief glimpse at season four screened at San Diego Comic-Con, the popular villain will make an appearance on the Batman prequel series at some point in its next outing, which will begin on Sept. 28 on Fox.
The sizzle reel screened for SDCC audiences spends most of its time going through the events of season three before culminating in a brief glimpse at season four. The show will continue to deal with Bruce's (David Mazouz) struggles to figure out who he is following the dramatic events of the season three finale.
While the sizzle reel didn't give too much away, it does hint that Gotham will finally be turning Bruce into the Batman the world knows and loves in the fourth season. "You can make a difference," Alfred (Sean Pertwee) tells him. "There is a time for masks and there is a time for Bruce Wayne."
SDCC also saw the reveal that a new character is coming to the show, with Teen Wolf's Crystal Reed set to join as Sofia Falcone, the daughter of Don Falcone (John Doman). According to Deadline, Sofia is strong, intelligent, and calculating, necessary skills for her position as the head of the Falcone operation in the south for the past ten years. Sofia returns to Gotham to help Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) take down the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor).
While we wait for Gotham to return for its fourth season, see how the show's characters should really look based on the comics.
