Arrow's Byron Mann Joins Dwayne Johnson In Skyscraper

Dwayne Johnson is assembling quite the cast for his upcoming thriller SkyscraperDeadline reports that Arrow's Byron Mann and Taiwanese actress Hannah Quinlivan have joined the cast of the film, which also includes Neve Campbell, Pablo Schreiber, and Chin Han.

Skyscraper stars Johnson as a disabled war veteran and former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader who is tasked with assessing security for skyscrapers. While on assignment in China, he finds that the tallest, safest building in the world has been set ablaze– and people think he did it. To make matters even worse, his family is trapped inside the building above the fire line. A wanted man, Johnson's character must go on the run while he hunts down those responsible and clears his name.

There is no word on who Mann and Quinlivan will play in the film. Mann, who is well known for playing Yao Fei on The CW's Arrow, has also appeared in Hell on Wheels, The Expanse, The Big Short, and, most recently, the Netflix series Altered Carbon, which is expected to hit the streamer in 2018. For Quinlivan, the movie is her second big role, with the young actress next set to play a role in the crime film S.M.A.R.T. Chase, also starring Orlando Bloom.

Johnson is set to produce Skyscraper alongside Beau Flynn (Requiem for a Dream) and Dodgeball and Central Intelligence's Rawson Marshall Thurber, who also wrote the script and will direct. Dany Garcia (Baywatch) and Hiram Garcia (Furious Seven) will executive produce, while Wendy Jacobson (San Andreas) co-produces. The movie is set to be released on July 13, 2018; in the meantime, see all of the other movies that will blow you away that year.
