Colton Haynes Teases Roy Harper's Arrow Return
Arsenal could be coming back to Arrow. Colton Haynes revealed on his Twitter account over the weekend that Roy Harper could be making a return to the CW series "very soon."
Haynes joined the show in season one and remained a fixture through season four. However, after his character faked his own death to protect Oliver's (Stephen Amell) secret identity, he has remained mostly MIA. Given Haynes' comments, it seems that Roy may have booked a return to Star City for the show's upcoming sixth season.
Season six will also see the addition of Lost and Person of Interest star Michael Emerson as a mysterious part of a "villainous cabal" which will also include Ricardo DIaz, a character based on the comics' Richard Dragon, who will be played by 12 Monkeys' Kirk Acevedo. David Nylk, who plays Oliver's former Bratva mentor Anatoly Knyavez, will also be back with a vengeance in the upcoming season. Other new cast members include GLOW's Sydelle Noel as an FBI agent who investigates Oliver's connection to the Arrow and Lucifer's Liam Hall as the son of Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson.
While the explosive events at the end of season five may have dwindled the ranks of Team Arrow slightly, the season six trailer did reveal that at least Katie Cassidy's Black Siren (previously confirmed as a series regular for season six), Juliana Harkavy's Dinah Drake, and Bennett's Deathstroke survived alongside Oliver. Other cast members expected to return for the season, should they survive, include Willa Holland as Thea, David Ramsey as Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity, and Paul Blackthrone as Detective Lance.
Arrow's sixth season premieres on Oct. 12. In the meantime, see what the show's characters should really look like based on the comics.
