First Trailer For Ridley Scott's All The Money In The World Revealed
Although Ridley Scott will turn 80 in a few months, he's not slowing down.
Sony released the first trailer for All the Money in the World, Scott's second movie this year after Alien: Covenant. Based on true events, it centers on the 1973 kidnapping of John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer), the grandson of billionaire John Paul Getty (a barely recognizable Kevin Spacey). Michelle Williams stars as the mother of the kidnapped 16-year-old and Mark Wahlberg plays an advisor to Getty.
If you don't know how everything played out, here's the official synopsis: "All the Money in the World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Kevin Spacey) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son's captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son's life in the balance, Gail and Getty's advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money."
All the Money in the World will hit theaters just in time for awards season on Dec. 8. Meanwhile, Scott said he could potentially make six more Alien movies.
