Netflix Unveils The Punisher Trailer

Netflix has finally given us a full trailer for The Punisher. The streamer shared the eye opening trailer for the upcoming series on their account on Wednesday, although it still leaves one very important detail out– the show's premiere date.

The trailer kicks off by showing the happier former life of Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), before introducing the shocking moment that led him to turn to a life of vigilantism. Through some gorgeous and intense visual moments, it shows Castle gearing up for his time as the antihero, getting his signature skull ready to go.

The bloody trailer teases that the series won't be holding anything back as it deals with Castle's investigations into the covert government operation that wants him dead. "I'm gonna kill 'em all," he says, before unleashing an intense and action-filled plan that suggests that he will, indeed, do just that.

In addition to Bernthal, The Punisher will also see Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing the weapons expert Micro, Amber Rose Revah playing a Homeland Security agent, Shohreh Aghdashloo playing her mother, Michael Nathanson playing her partner, Jason R. Moore and Daniel Webber playing former soldiers, Paul Schulze playing a high-ranking CIA official, and Daredevil's Deborah Ann Woll returning in her role as Karen Page. The show comes from Hannibal's Steve Lightfoot.

Although the premiere date is still being kept locked away, the ramping up of promo material hints that the series could be coming ver, very soon. For now, see some of the moments from the antihero's comic book that are probably going to be too intense for the Netflix series.
