Set Photos Reveal Evangeline Lilly In Full Wasp Costume
With the Giant-Man reveal already having been taken care of with much aplomb in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, the biggest thing to look forward to in next year's Ant-Man and the Wasp is seeing Hope van Dyne in action as the Wasp. Now, new set photos have been released offering the first look at how actress Evangeline Lilly will look in the Wasp costume when she finally suits up.
The shots come care of the Twitter account MCU_Tweets, and reveal a sleek dark costume that's not quite the bright gold and red outfit we saw at the end of Ant-Man. It may not be quite as shiny, but it does look just about like something you could take out into public as long as you accompanied it with a pretty sick motorcycle.

Lilly recently shared an image of herself in the partial costume for the superhero in honor of Jack Kirby's 100th birthday, but this marks the first time the character has been seen in the full suit with the helmet included. Only thing it's missing is the wings.
Altogether, Ant-Man and the Wasp is shaping up to be one of our more anticipated movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the chance of seeing Hope in action getting equal billing in a 50-50 partnership with Paul Rudd's Ant-Man being particularly exciting.
We'll get to see both of the heroes in action when Ant-Man in the Wasp slinks into theaters on July 6, 2018. If you're finding yourself wondering where you've seen Evangeline Lilly before, check out her catalog of work in our feature on why Hope from Ant-Man looks so familiar.
