Paul Bettany Plays A 'Gangster' In Solo: A Star Wars Story

Pretty much everything about Solo: A Star Wars Story is top-secret, but Paul Bettany offered a hint about his character.

Perhaps best known as Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bettany reportedly said all that he could at Rhode Island Comic Con (via Adventures in Poor Taste). "Ya know, obviously, I'm a very cool intergalactic gangster."

Of course, that's far from official confirmation of anything, and Bettany could've been just joking around. But there's obviously plenty of room for plenty of gangsters in the Han Solo universe.

However, he said he couldn't reveal his character's name. "I'm not sure I want to be sued," Bettany said.

As of now, there are still plenty of mysteries about the upcoming Star Wars anthology flick. We know Ron Howard took over as director after Phil Lord and Chris Miller parted ways with Lucasfilm, Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) stars as Han Solo, and Donald Glover plays Lando Calrissian. It's believed that Woody Harrelson plays a criminal mentor to Solo, and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) plays a character that may or may not be named "Kura."

Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to land May 25, 2018.
