Who Is Camilla Belle Playing In Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3?
Created by Dick Wolf, "Law & Order: Organized Crime," is about to go into its third season (per IMDb). The series depicts the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau as they try to take down New York City's most vicious and violent illegal enterprises. Christopher Meloni reprises his "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" role as Detective Elliot Stabler. Other cast members include Ainsley Seiger and Danielle Moné Truitt.
Meloni discussed his favorite part of expanding on the "Law & Order" universe with The Nerds of Color, saying, "I like the serialized nature of the storytelling. It gives us a little more operating room to dig into relationships and dig into the story, it's as simple as that. I just really enjoy living that kind of storytelling."
Deadline has reported that this season will be adding some new faces to the cast, such as Camilla Belle, Gus Halper, Rick Gonzalez, and Brent Antonello. So who will Belle be playing?
Camilla Belle and Gus Halper's characters are paired up
Belle, who can most recently be seen in Netflix's "Carter," and Halper, who is known for AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead," will play a new strong couple, Pearl Serrano and Teddy Silas (via Deadline). The premiere episode will also be a historic three-hour crossover between "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and "Law & Order: Organized Crime," according to Wolf Entertainment. Season 3 will start on Thursday, September 22 on NBC at 8 PM EST.
"Nothing demonstrates the power of the 'Law & Order' brand more than an ambitious three-hour event with a story that is truly ripped from the headlines that starts on 'Organized Crime,' then migrates to 'SVU' and finally the trial on 'Law & Order,'" Dick Wolf explained on his production website. "I can't think of a bigger and better way to launch the new season of 'Law & Order' Thursday."
