Stargate Origins Teaser, Premiere Date Revealed

The first teaser trailer for Stargate Origins tells us exactly who's in charge. 

The prequel series centers on Catherine Langford (Ellie Gall), the daughter of Professor Langford (Connor Trinneer), and it'll tell the story that precedes the original 1994 movie. Catherine must embark on a journey to discover what lies beyond the Stargate her father discovered and save Earth from unimaginable terror. 

Viveca Lindfors (older Catherine) and Kelly Vint Castro (younger Catherine) played the character in the Stargate movie from director Roland Emmerich, followed by Elizabeth Hoffman on the long-running TV series Stargate SG-1. 

The cast of Stargate Origins also includes Philip Alexander, Salome Azizi, Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez, Daniel Rashid, Sarah Navratil, Shvan Aladdin, Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, Derek Chariton, Justin Michael Terry, Lincoln Werner Hoppe, and Aylam Orian.

Written by Mark Ilvedson and Justin Michael Terry and directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan (Virtual Morality), the 10-episode first season will air exclusively on MGM's new digital platform Stargate Command on Feb. 15, 2018.
