Portlandia Reveals Trailer For Eighth And Final Season

It's the beginning of the end for Portlandia, but there's still time to put a bird on it.

IFC released a trailer for the upcoming eighth and final season of the sketch comedy series starring Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, and it looks like the insanity will be cranked all the way up. 

In the trailer, feminist bookstore owners Candace and Toni think about opening their own women's health clinic despite the fact that they have no medical experience, Spyke tells Iris he's thinking about reviving his old band Riot Spray, and, yes, that's Kyle MacLachlan back as the mayor. He's definitely dancing this time.

Other guest stars include returning favorites Jeff Goldblum, Ed Begley Jr., Natasha Lyonne, and Kumail Nanjiani along with Rashida Jones, Rachel Bloom, Aidy Bryant, Terry Crews, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

Meanwhile, Armisen signed on for a guest-starring role on The Last Man on Earth alongside fellow SNL veteran Will Forte.

Season 8 of Portlandia will premiere Jan. 18 on IFC.
