Who Is The Fourth Alien In The CW's Roswell, New Mexico?

Season one of "Roswell, New Mexico" quickly captured fans' attention with sci-fi elements, lovable characters, and plenty of mysteries. A reboot of a 1999 series, The CW's "Roswell, New Mexico" follows Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason), who returns to her hometown and rekindles a relationship with high school sweetheart Max Evans (Nathan Dean Parsons). Max is an alien and he and his two siblings — Isobel (Lily Cowles) and Michael (Michael Vlamis) — have otherworldly powers. The triad assumed they were alone on this planet their entire life, when in reality, there was a fourth alien pulling the strings of the most traumatic moment in their lives: covering up a murder.

In an interview with Tell Tale TV, Vlamis put it perfectly: "I think everybody kind of unravels as the show unravels. When you find out what's been going on, it's pretty wild." In the end, who was the fourth alien? You'll be shocked by the connection he has to one of the series' main characters.

Isobel's husband was the real villain

In Season 1 Episode 11, it is revealed that Noah Bracken, Isobel's husband, is the fourth alien, who has murdered up to 14 people (via Den of Geek). After Liz and Max suspect that it could be him, Liz tests his blood and confirms it. The character was played by Karan Oberoi. Noah ends up dying before the season is over.

This leads to Isobel going on a very difficult and vulnerable journey for the rest of the show as she deals with the revelation of what this monster has done to her and other innocent people in the town. "I think it took ... this revelation that her husband was this evil villain who had used her body," Lily Cowles explained to TV Fanatic. "All of this functions on a very metaphorical level, I think, for things that people also really do experience in their own lives. But so often, tragedy and trauma can actually lead to liberation and healing."

Unfortunately, after four seasons, the series was canceled and aired its finale episode in September 2022 (via Variety).
