Listen To First Clip From Marvel Fiction Podcast Wolverine: The Long Night
Listen up, bub — This ain't gonna be a pretty story.
Marvel has released an audio trailer for its first longform fiction podcast, Wolverine: The Long Night, and you can check it out for yourself on YouTube up above or at the series' official site now.
Starring Richard Armitage as Logan/Wolverine, the ten-episode series from Marvel New Media follows the story of two law enforcement agents who travel to the backwoods of Alabama, teaming up with a local deputy to hunt a serial killer. On their quest, they end up finding Logan — AKA the chief suspect.
In addition to Armitage in the lead role, the series also features the vocal talents of Celia Keenan-Bolger as agent Sally Pierce, Ato Essandoh as agent Tad Marshall, and Andrew Keenan-Bolger as deputy Bobby Reid. Zoe Chao, Chaske Spencer, Bob Balaban, Jordan Bridges, Scott Adsit, David Call, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael J. Burg, Lannon Killea, and Chris Gethard are also set to appear on the series. You can get a feel for their performances, and the podcast's ambient, campfire-style production quality, in the trailer.
Wolverine: The Long Night was written by Green Arrow, Teen Titans and Batman writer Ben Percy, and will be available exclusively through Stitcher Premium, a podcast subscription service.
