The Standups: Netflix Unveils New Comedy Specials In Season 2 Trailer
Hold on, they've got another one for you.
Netflix has released the first trailer for its next season of The Standups, its showcase series for new and emerging stand-up comedians. Check out the highlight reel of the upcoming episodes for yourself up above.
According to the trailer footage, the new sextet of comics to take the stage in the second season of the series are Rachel Feinstein, Kyle Kinane, Joe List, Brent Morin, Aparna Nancherla, and Gina Yashere.
The Standups consists of an evolving collection of 30-minute stand-up comedy sets, with the growing library complimenting Netflix's catalog of hour-long specials, as well as its coming slate of 15-minute specials. Soon enough, the service will have something to offer you to make you laugh no matter what kind of time constraints you have. When the service launched that "Netflix is a joke" ad campaign, evidently they really weren't kidding around.
Sets for The Standups are filmed at the Cicada Restaurant and Club in Los Angeles. The first six-episode season, released on Independence Day 2017, included material from Dan Soder, Fortune Feimster, Nikki Glaser, and more.
The Standups returns to the stage with new material on March 20.
