90 Day Fiance: Paul & Karine Have Reunited (& Could Be Trying To Get Back On TV)

Paul and Karine Staehle have been through a tiny bit more than most couples. In the years since Paul first traveled to meet Karine in Brazil on "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days" in 2017, the two have weathered break-ups, cheating rumors, communication problems, tantrums, criminal records, and — most recently — a custody battle. In fact, the couple's most recent breakup was in 2021. Still, the two have always found their way back to each other.

That said, perhaps the umpteenth time will be the charm, as Paul and Karine are reportedly back together again. On top of that, Paul — who has been living in Brazil — recently shared a casting call on Instagram that teased a possible return to TV for the reality star. After appearing on several "90 Day Fiancé" spin-offs including "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way" and "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After," the Kentucky native is certainly a seasoned TV pro by now.

That doesn't mean that everything is hunky dory for the couple, though. There's still one major battle that the two will have to fight soon.

They're still married, but with a hitch

There were certainly hints that Paul Staehle had been eyeing a reconciliation with Karine. In January, he wished her a happy birthday on Instagram. Additionally, Karine's break-up from Josh Seiter in December 2022 just a month prior had been auspicious for the pair.

But the "90 Day Fiancé" couple still have a long road ahead of them. Though they are still married, they also have two sons between them; however, they no longer have custody over them. Additionally, Paul, who has engaged in some fairly dramatic behavior throughout his time on reality TV, briefly disappeared with one of his sons in June and July of 2022. That certainly didn't help the couple's custody case.

Still, the pair have reportedly worked together to regain custody of their sons Pierre and Ethan. It's seemingly this fight that has brought them together. It's also perhaps this fight that will bring them even closer. Let's just hope that they make it last this time.
