Big Brother 25 Fans Are Obsessed With A New Duo No One Saw Coming

Contains spoilers for Week 12 of "Big Brother 25"

America Lopez is jumping from one "Big Brother" relationship to another — and fans are digging her new gameplay. After losing Cory Wurtenberger to the jury house during last Thursday's eviction ceremony, fans assumed that being separated from her showmance would cramp America's social game and she would be the next houseguest up for elimination. Thanks to Jag Bains, who is now entering his second consecutive week as Head of Household, America is nominated for eviction. But in a surprise twist, America doesn't appear to be Jag's target — and she's using her free time in the house to forge an alliance with Cirie Fields.

Cirie already has alliances in place: She and Felicia Cannon are working together, and the two have a verbal agreement with the Minutemen to take each other to the final four. But Cirie clearly sees potential in America because the two are spending a lot of time together these days. The live stream shows them hanging out and talking game strategies in the hammock, playing pool, and discussing how they need to get rid of Jag and Matt Klotz. Fans of both Cirie and America are loving watching these former opposing forces come together — but not everyone is convinced the two are on the same side.

The "Big Brother" livestream also shows Cirie actively campaigning against America. She's been trying to convince Matt that America is coming for him, although some fans think this is a strategic move intended to throw Matt off America's scent and disguise the fact that the two are working together.

Here's what else you missed so far this week

If you're behind on "Big Brother," here's what you need to know: After winning Invisible Head of Household and the Power of Veto during Week 11, Jag Bains manages to snag another HOH win in Johnny Mac's Dental Dungeon competition. Given that America Lopez referred to him as a moron and threatened to come after him in her eviction speech, it's no surprise that Jag chooses to nominate her for eviction again this week. The curveball is that the real target is Blue Kim, who in the past has worked closely with Minutemen Jag and Matt Klotz.

Jag rationalizes his decision to target Blue by saying she's one of the fiercest individuals left and he's trying to remove any houseguests who might threaten his and Matt's chances of winning future competitions. Jag's choices are also limited, thanks to his and Matt's final four alliance with Cirie Fields and Felicia Cannon, and their alliance with Bowie Jane Ball.

According to the "Big Brother" livestream, Jag won Power of Veto this week but chose not to use it. This means both America and Blue are still up for nomination — and it looks like Jag is still pushing for Blue to leave. It's too early to tell if Cirie is Team Blue, Team America, or Team Hedging Her Bets, but to find out how this week develops, check out "Big Brother" Season 25 on CBS on Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
