Thor 4, Now Titled Thor: Love And Thunder, Lands Official Release Date
The Asgardian gods have heard your prayers — a fourth Thor movie is on the way. And now, thanks to announcements made at Marvel Studios' unbelievably buzzy Hall H presentation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the film has a shiny new title and an official release date.
On Saturday evening to much fanfare, Marvel confirmed that Thor 4 is titled Thor: Love and Thunder.
New Zealander filmmaker Taika Waititi, who directed the franchise-altering installment Thor: Ragnarok, is back at the helm to direct returning stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster — the female Thor.
Judging by the title of the new movie and the fact that Portman is part of the story, it's safe to assume that the Asgardian god of thunder could be finding both his identity as a superhero and true, everlasting love in his post-solo-trilogy adventure.
Thor: Love and Thunder will touch down in theaters and strike your heart with a lighting bolt of passion on November 5, 2021.
