This Is Where You Will Be Able To Watch The Unhealer
"The Unhealer" is an upcoming horror movie directed by Martin Guigui. Co-written by J. Shawn Harris and Kevin E. Moore, "The Unhealer" stars stars "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" actor and TikTok star Elijah Nelson as Kelly, a bullied teenager endowed with superpowers. Similar to the questions raised in "Brightburn," this film wrestles with the concept of someone like Superman using his powers for evil instead of for good. Kelly has been the subject of torment for years, and when a loved one dies as a result of his bully's pranks, Kelly goes past the point of no return, putting his powers to use in a quest for revenge no matter the cost.
Adam Beach, who played Chief E.O. McGinnis in "Nancy Drew," dons another uniform for his role as Sheriff Adler in this film. Longtime character actor Branscombe Richmond also joins the cast as Red Elk. Their characters work together to stop Kelly from taking more lives. Horror veterans Lance Henriksen and Natasha Henstridge are also part of the cast.

The Unhealer will be available in many formats
"The Unhealer" is set to arrive in several formats on June 8, 2021. Per Daily Dead, the film will be available on digital, video-on-demand platforms, and "home entertainment shelves," meaning that physical copies will be available for purchase as well.
For those who are interested in the lattermost option, the indie film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD at Walmart. The store's site has both versions available for pre-order right now. You can also pre-order a Blu-ray or DVD version of "The Unhealer" on Amazon.
If you prefer to enjoy your movies in digital format, "The Unhealer" will also be available on demand through Apple TV and Prime Video on its release day (via Decider).
Lead actor Elijah Nelson has over 2 million followers on TikTok under the account @shiloandbros, which he shares with his older brother, Shiloh. Before the platform exploded in popularity, Elijah Nelson had already appeared on "Mad Men" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," among other theatrical projects. The film may benefit from Nelson's massive following, giving it a step up from other indie horror films, where audiences are generally limited to aficionados of the genre.
There's no shortage of horror films coming this year, but "The Unhealer" deserves a spot in your queue after you've checked out many of the other bigger releases.
