Paradise PD Season 4 - What We Know So Far

Season 3 of "Paradise PD" was released on March 12, 2021, via Netflix, and most fans have already finished it. Throughout the season, "Paradise PD" has provided us with even more laugh-out-loud moments and cringeworthy scenes that would make your parents uncomfortable. The season finale, however, has opened up a new range of possibilities for the characters of the animated series. This is especially true after Giant Dobby ravages through Paradise and takes some Paradise PD officers with him. Now, we can only sit here and wonder what's next for the team while we anxiously wait for the next season.

Thankfully, Season 4 is in the works, and there is plenty to discuss about what's going to happen after the previous events. Although we likely will not see the new season for some time, we can still look at the earlier seasons and make some educated guesses regarding the release date, cast, and plot. Here's what we know about Season 4 of "Paradise PD."

When will Season 4 arrive?

The first thing we need to know is when Season 4 will arrive. Creators Roger Black and Waco O'Guin have yet to announce anything, but they signed a multi-year partnership with Netflix in late January, per a Twitter post.

Although there has not been an official date scheduled yet, we have some previous release history to help us figure it out. Season 1 was released on August 31, 2018. Released in two parts, the first half of Season 2 was released on March 6, 2020, and the second half on March 12, 2021. By this, we can reasonably assume Season 4 will be released sometime next year, likely in March 2022. The decision to release it in parts, like Season 2, is undecided right now.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been a consistent schedule for official announcements of release dates. The production team will most likely announce the date toward the end of 2021, when an accurate date is more feasible.

Who will be in Season 4?

When the time comes, the show's cast could look a little different at first. Season 3 left us with many questions, as most of the Paradise PD team were either eaten by Giant Dobby or stayed out of town. From this episode, we can guess who will return for Season 4.

The chief, his wife, and Dusty were all seen at the end of the Season 3 finale, signaling their likely return. This is almost expected as the chief and Dusty are the main characters who usually drive the plot forward.

Hopson, Fitz, and Bullet were all swallowed by Giant Dobby at the season finale, offering little insight into what would happen to them next. Another questionable character return is Gina, who ran off after the disrupted wedding, never to be seen again. Kevin's fate is also unknown, as fans saw him throughout Season 3, but not at the end of the finale.

The last character that could return for Season 4 is Kevin's unborn brother, who constantly seeks revenge. This late character addition could potentially serve as the main plot of the new season.

What can we expect from the plot of Season 4?

At the end of Season 3, Paradise is in shambles. The town is destroyed by Giant Dobby, who has eaten almost half of the Paradise PD team. There are many questions left to be answered after the season finale. How is Paradise going to rebuild after this disaster? What happened to Hopson, Fitz, and Bullet? Is this the last we see of Gina?

For these answers, wee might have to examine Season 3 a little deeper. It seems the only way to fix some of these problems is to go back in time. One possible plot of Season 4 is the chief using his portal gun from Season 3 to fix some of these problems. With this device, he would have the ability to go back and deal with Dobby appropriately and save his team.

We may also have a surprise return from Gina, who stormed off after being ashamed for realizing the power she has with her fists. This could play well with the new season, which will likely start by dealing with Giant Dobby. Could we see Gina return to defeat Giant Dobby single-handedly?

Finally, there's Kevin's unborn brother, who is speculated to be born this season. If that does happen, the Paradise PD team will have a lot more trouble on its hands.
