Exclusive Clip: Get A Sneak Peek At The Series Finale Of Van Helsing
The series finale of Syfy's vampire hunter epic "Van Helsing" is finally here ... and with just one episode left to watch, fans are dying to know what happens between their favorite gang of vampire hunters and one of the most powerful undead beings in existence.
Led by Kelly Overton as Vanessa Van Helsing — a descendent of the famous vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing — "Van Helsing" kicked off its run on Syfy in 2016, and now, it's coming to an end, promising a battle with the highest possible stakes as Vanessa and her crew face off against Dracula, also known as the Dark One (played by Tricia Helfer). Not only has Dracula been inhabiting the body of the United States president, allowing her to freely inhabit the Oval Office, but she's also on an ultimate quest for power, drinking her own blood in hopes of becoming undefeatable. After the series' penultimate episode, "The Voices," where Dracula possesses her devoted minion Bathory (Jesse Stanley) — which allows her to open an amulet unleashing her full power — it seems as if she's unstoppable.
Before the series finale of "Van Helsing" airs and settles the score between Dracula and Vanessa, Looper is thrilled to share an exclusive clip from the hotly anticipated episode, letting fans get a tiny glimpse of what's to come.
Vanessa has a plan to take down Dracula once and for all
As the clip opens, Vanessa, flanked by Violet (Keeya King) and Jack (Nicole Muñoz), prepares for their big showdown with Dracula, opening a portal into the Oval Office itself. Though Violet is shocked at Vanessa's new powers, wondering how she could possibly pull off this portal, Jack quickly reminds her cohort that Vanessa recently "leveled up," putting the vampire hunter at the height of her powers.
Though Vanessa can't be 100% sure that the portal will lead to the Oval Office, the three have no choice but to make the leap — and while Jack begs for all three of them to jump together, Vanessa has a different plan. As Vanessa reads the ancient scrolls aloud to stop Dracula from moving, Violet and Jack will launch a (hopefully fatal) attack, with the knowledge that this is their only chance to defeat the legendary vampire.
However, the plan quickly goes wrong. Vanessa exits the portal already reading the scroll, but Dracula is one step ahead of her, choking the huntress so she can't continue to speak. "You thought you could surprise me?" Dracula asks, casually getting up from the Resolute Desk as Jack begs Vanessa to keep reading. "You wouldn't be the first vampire hunter that I have rendered speechless." Violet tries to go after her, but Dracula is simply too powerful, launching counter-attacks on both Violet and Jack that leave them helpless, putting our heroes in some pretty dire straits.
To see if Vanessa and her gang finally defeat Dracula, you'll have to tune into the series finale of "Van Helsing," which airs tonight — Friday, June 25 — at 10 PM EST on Syfy.
