A New Special Look At The King's Man Shows How Manners Maketh Man

The "Kingsman" films have always brought a rollicking good time: the movies combine heart-pounding action with clever wit, with a dash of James Bond flair for good measure. Based on the comic book series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, director Matthew Vaughn brought the action spy thriller to life with the first movie, "The Kingsman: The Secret Service" in 2015. Starring Taron Egerton and Colin Firth, the film was an international hit at the box office, grossing over $400 million worldwide and receiving high praise from critics. Two years after the success of the first film, the cast and crew returned for "The Kingsman: The Golden Circle." Though the reviews were not quite as high as those of its predecessor, the sequel still managed to make serious bank at the box office, once again hitting the $400 mil mark.

Whatever the critics may make of "Kingsman" series as a whole, it has become quite clear that the movies are a big hit with audiences around the globe. Now that the next film in the series, "The King's Man," is set to release in December 2021, fans of the franchise are more excited than ever for the next installment.

This time, the new release is a prequel –and it has fans salivating with anticipation. A recent look into the new film should have everyone gearing up and grabbing their umbrellas in preparation.

"It still has its recognizable 'Kingsman' element," claims Fiennes. "There's gadgetry, humor, action, and fantastical villains." Actors Arteron and Hounsou went on to give due credit to the film's director for how well everything has come together. "The style is very Matthew Vaughn," related Arterton, who plays Polly in the film. Hounsou brought Vaughn's writing to attention as well, stating: "Matthew is an amazing storyteller, and he has written something quite powerful."
