A Brand New No Time To Die Trailer Is Finally Here
Remember when "No Time to Die" came out about five years ago, and we all rushed to the theaters to see Daniel Craig portray James Bond one last time? Us either. This film has been shelved longer than a box of Frosted Flakes with the bag still open. "No Time To Die" is still not in theaters, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, but for some reason, it seems like we've been waiting for this movie longer than any other film that also had to postpone its release date numerous times.
The wait for "No Time To Die" has dissipated the hype, and the longer this movie goes without a premiere, the more fans lose interest. It's been over 10 months since we got a new trailer as well, but everything changed today when a new 30-second mini trailer landed online. Universal Pictures is giving us a brand new look at the long-awaited film with a definite release date later this year, and the hype-inducing video couldn't have come at a better time.
Bond is Back, remember him?
In the new 30-second clip for "No Time to Die," we're treated to a smidgen of new content, while mainly being shown moments that we already saw in the previous two trailers. Frustrating? Yes. Understandable? Also yes. We don't want to be shown too much of the new film, but the studio had to give us something.
In the new trailer alongside Daniel Craig's James Bond, we get brief glimpses of Paloma (Ana de Armas), Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz), Moneypenny (Naomie Harris), Q (Ben Winshaw), Nomi (Lashana Lynch), and Safi (Rami Malek). Noticeably absent is M, the MI-6 leader played by Ralph Fiennes, who will be appearing in the film. Jeffrey Wright showed up in previous trailers, but was missing from the "Bond is Back" trailer as well.
We can see Bond throwing himself off a bridge, driving a machine gun-adorned Aston Martin, canoodling with Madeline, and having a brief exchange with Q — where there seems to be some tension. A newer clip finds our new 00 agent, Nomi, flying a high-tech jet, with Bond riding behind her as a passenger. We're once again informed that 007's love interest Madeline has some sort of secret that's yet to be revealed, something the returning "Spectre" villain, Blofield, teases in the trailer.
We're likely not going to get any more out of this film than we already have, so to see Craig's last go-'round as 007, make sure and catch "No Time to Die" when it hits theaters on October 8. Probably. Almost definitely. Presumably.
