Marvel's Inhumans Reportedly Casts Chad James Buchanan
Another human has reportedly signed on for the upcoming Marvel TV series The Inhumans.
Chad James Buchanan (Star, Grey's Anatomy) revealed on Twitter (via ComicBookMovie) that he would be flying to Hawaii to join the rest of the cast currently filming for the ABC series.
Although the tweet has since been deleted, Buchanan appeared to confirm that he'll be a part of season 1. But he didn't say anything about his character, so we'll probably have to wait for a more formal announcement.
Here's the official synopsis: "The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. Marvel's The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family."
The cast already includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (TRON: Legacy) as Medusa, Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad, Ken Leung (Lost) as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor (Extant) as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish (Puberty Blues) as Crystal, Mike Moh (Empire) as Triton, Sonya Balmores (Soul Surfer) as Auran, and Ellen Woglom (Hated) in another mystery role.
The extended pilot will screen on IMAX in September before the show's formal debut on ABC. Meanwhile, check out how the show could potentially create big problems for Marvel.
