Everyone Is A Suspect In Star-Studded Murder On The Orient Express Trailer
Kenneth Branagh is the world's greatest detective in the first trailer for Murder on the Orient Express. The mystery film, based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, follows the unraveling of a murder on a luxury train traveling through Europe in the early 1900s.
The star-studded trailer begins by showing the train, with Branagh's Hercule Poirot narrating. "You know, there is something about a tangle of strangers, pressed together for days with nothing in common but the need to go from one place to another and never see each other again," he says, before he is interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream. "I see evil on this train," he alerts us. "A passenger has died."
The trailer then begins to go through the reactions of the others on the train, who include a professor (Willem Dafoe), a butler (Derek Jacobi), a count (Sergei Polunin), an assistant (Josh Gad), a governess (Daisy Ridley), a missionary (Penelope Cruz), a widow (Michelle Pfeiffer), a salesman (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), a maid (Olivia Colman), a doctor (Leslie Odom Jr.), and a princess (Judi Dench). "If there was a murder, then there was a murderer," Poirot says. "The murderer is with us, and every one of you is a suspect."
Johnny Depp, Tom Bateman, Lucy Boynton, and Marwan Kenzari also star in Murder on the Orient Express, which is set to be released on Nov. 10. Branagh also directed based on a script from Blade Runner 2049 and Logan's Michael Green. While we wait, see some other movie releases you won't want to miss this year.
