What Time Will The Harry Potter Reunion Special Be Available On HBO Max?
Potterheads only have a few more days before they can return to the magical world of Harry Potter. "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" is about to drop on HBO Max and it will feature Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and other cast members coming together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first film, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
The reunion special promises all-new in-depth interviews with the cast and a behind-the-scenes look into the making of some of the franchise's iconic scenes. Besides Harry, Ron, and Hermione, you can also expect to see Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), Draco (Tom Felton), Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter), and Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis), among others. The special takes place right where the magic happened 20 years ago on the Hogwarts set, and it looks like the cast is having a Yule Ball-type event to celebrate, judging by the trailer. In case you were wondering the exact moment the new "Harry Potter" special is available to stream (because who isn't?), we've got you covered.
You can ring in the New Year with Return to Hogwarts
For those that are "Harry Potter" obsessed, what better way to ring in the New Year than to watch "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" right when the ball drops. Right after your champagne toast, tune in to HBO Max as "Return to Hogwarts" will be available to stream starting at midnight on January 1.
However, those without an HBO Max account — and those without a friend they can mooch off of — will have to wait before the reunion special becomes available. Fans can expect the special to air sometime next spring on TBS and Cartoon Network to coincide with the release of the "Harry Potter" spin-off prequel film, "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore," per a press release. The press release also states that the reunion special will be available globally, but more details will be released later.
So there you have it. Potterheads can expect to be spellbound right as the New Year rolls in.
