When Will Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Be Available On Netflix?
Since its 2018 debut on Netflix, the pitch-black crime series "Ozark" has become not only one of the streamer's most popular original productions but a critical hit that's won three Primetime Emmys (via IMDb) and been nominated for over a dozen more. It's also become one of the rare Netflix Originals to run more than three seasons. Despite the enduring popularity of "Ozark" though, it wasn't entirely surprising when Netflix announced the series would not make it past Season 4, nor was it a particular shock when the streamer announced it was splitting the show's final season into two, 14-episode parts.
The full trailer for Part 1 of "Ozark" Season 4 has finally been released, and it's clear things are only about to get trickier, not to mention bloodier, for Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his family. The trailer also confirmed when the series' new episodes will arrive on Netflix, with all seven installments of "Ozark" Season 4, Part 1 set to drop on January 21.
As expected, fans are now wondering exactly when they'll get to set their eyes on the second half of the show's final season.
Ozark fans still don't know when the series' final episodes will drop
Unfortunately, the answer to that question remains a mystery right now because Netflix has not revealed when the final episodes of "Ozark" will hit the platform. The good news is that the show's crew reportedly wrapped principal photography on the season in October 2021. Combine that with the fact that the first seven episodes of "Ozark" Season 4 are premiering on Netflix in late January, and it seems safe to say that the season's post-production process has gone smoothly so far.
One has to imagine, however, that the "Ozark" creative team was intensely focused on whipping that first batch of episodes into shape. Therefore, even if the expectation is that Part 2 of "Ozark" Season 4 will debut later this year (via The Hollywood Reporter), it's likely that work is still being done on the show's final episodes right now, which means there's no telling for sure when they'll be ready to go.
That may be a good thing too, as there will no doubt be a lot for fans to digest after the first round of "Ozark" Season 4 episodes. The show will catch back up with Marty and Wendy (Laura Linney) when they're in the midst of doing all they can to keep their family safe and trying to find a way out of the hole they've dug themselves into with Cartel boss Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). As for Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), her new alliance with crazed, would-be heroin kingpin Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) should prove to be either her undoing or the thing that saves her life.
Whatever the case, "Ozark" fans will have to wait a little longer to find out not just how the Netflix series ends, but also when.
