Why The Last Scene Of The Book Of Boba Fett Chapter 4 Has Mandalorian Fans Hyped
Contains spoilers for "The Book of Boba Fett" Chapter 4
This week, "The Book of Boba Fett" saw the former bounty hunter getting a clean bill of health after finishing treatment for the wounds he endured out in the dune seas of Tattoine. At full strength, he was then able to make the essential power plays and uncertain alliances with other big names on the desert planet, as well as hire Black Krrsantan as his newly appointed muscle. Even with an enraged Wookiee backing him up, Boba (Temuera Morrison) is fully aware that he needs more numbers to prepare for an impending war against the Pyke Syndicate.
Of course, even being a stone's throw away from a wretched hive of scum and villainy like Mos Eisley, it still helps to have people you can trust on your side when a war breaks out. Thankfully, his confidante, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), is quick to chime in a pearl of wisdom that should've caught the ear of any "Star Wars" fan listening closely enough. After suggesting that "credits can buy muscle, if you know where to look," a familiar tune fills the scene. This had astute viewers thinking of just the person for the job, and now that they've been referenced, we can't help but think that they may be set to appear on the show very soon.
Are we in for an appearance from Din Djarin on The Book of Boba Fett?
Anyone that knows their Din Djarin's from their Dagobah's will have caught the unmistakable theme from "The Mandalorian" during Shand's suggestion. Written by Ludwig Göransson, who also composed the score for "The Book of Boba Fett," it played long enough for fans to lose their collective poodoo at the possible return of Pedro Pascal's beloved character. On social media, @TorrentCompany had to double-check with the rest of Twitter, asking, "and that was The Mandalorian theme at the end of the episode right? I'm not crazy." They weren't, of course, as many fans had picked it out, including @StarWarsStans, who said, "The Mandalorian theme playing at the end of Episode 4. Din Djarin is coming!"
With the tease of the Beskar-plated protagonist rocking up to Jab- ... sorry, Boba's door, it also got fans considering if this could set up more than one character from the "Star Wars" spin-off show appearing. Fan @DarthGollott suggested, "with that Mandalorian theme at the end, do you think Mando will show up? I think we're about to get a bunch of familiar faces soon." Honestly, at the moment, who can say? With Boba keen to grow numbers for the battles ahead, those two heroes side by side would surely bring the chills. As noted by @Superman_07_, "that Mandalorian theme stoles the show. Freaking hyped!"
We can only wait and see how the next chapter unfolds when "The Book of Boba Fett" continues on Disney+ next week.
