Here's What You Need To Know About Jackass Forever's Compston 'Darkshark' Wilson
Wherever there are dangerous stunts to be performed, you can be sure the gang of "Jackass" won't be far behind.
Over 10 years after the gang got together for "Jackass 3D," they're about to put themselves in harm's way for your enjoyment once again for "Jackass Forever." The stunts are bigger; the stakes are higher, and if they're not careful, they could face more broken bones than ever before. Johnny Knoxville already learned that first-hand. The movie isn't even out yet, and we already have a story of how he suffered an injury so severe on-set it took him months to recover.
Of course, that's nothing new for Knoxville and the other guys who have been part of the "Jackass" crew since 2000. However, for their latest outing, they've brought some new faces along for the ride who hopefully knew what it was they were signing up for. Among the new cast is Compston "Darkshark" Wilson, who doesn't have an extensive filmography but is sure to break out in a big way once "Jackass Forever" makes its way into theaters.
Darkshark was previously seen on Loiter Squad
"Jackass Forever" won't be Compston Wilson's first time in front of the camera. It won't even be his first time starring in something alongside his son, Jasper Dolphin. The two got their start making hilarious videos on the Adult Swim series "Loiter Squad." The show consisted of pranks, sketches, and music regularly featuring the likes of Tyler the Creator, Taco Bennett, and Earl Sweatshirt. It's appropriate several of the cast members ended up in "Jackass Forever" as the show was originally described as a "mixture of 'Jackass' and 'Chappelle's Show'" (via Billboard).
Several "Jackass" alumni have even guest-starred on the series, including Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, and Bam Margera. After three seasons, Wilson followed up "Loiter Squad" with the VICE series, "Jasper and Errol's First Time," which sees his son and Errol Chatham going on various adventures and trying new hobbies.
Next up, Wilson will be seen in "Jackass Forever," who already has the stamp of approval from Knoxville. When speaking with Newsweek, Knoxville said of the newcomer, "We reached out to friends and found Jasper Dolphin from the 'Loiter Squad,' his dad 'Darkshark' [Compston Wilson] who is hilarious." A wider audience will finally be introduced to Compston "Darkshark" Wilson once "Jackass Forever" comes out on February 4, 2022.
