Narcos Season 3 Trailer Unveiled
Warning: This post contains spoilers for Narcos.
A new empire is rising.
Netflix has just released the official trailer for the third season of Narcos, the hit crime drama series that chronicles Colombia's infamously powerful and violent drug cartels and the search for cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura).
Last season brought the blood-stained hunt for Escobar to a close, and now, the DEA has turned its focus to the Cali Cartel and its four seemingly untouchable "Kings": Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela (Damian Alcazar), the head honcho of the cartel; Miguel Rodriguez Orejuela (Francisco Denis), Gilberto's brother and the mastermind behind the group's meteoric rise through the underground drug industry; Pacho Herrera (Alberto Ammann), the hush-hush hitman who coordinates the cartel's connections with Mexico and global distribution system; and Chepe Santacruz Londono (Pepe Rapazote), the man behind the New York City empire of the Colombian drug network.
Season three adds Jorge Salcedo as Cali Cartel head of security Matias Varela, Michael Stahl-David and Matt Whelan as DEA agents Chris Fiestl and Daniel van Ness, and Miguel Angel Silvestre as the cartel's money launderer Franklin Jurado. Kerry Bishe joins the series as Jurado's wife Christina, alongside Arturo Castro as his son, David.
Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal leads the season, and narrates the trailer, as DEA agent Javier Peña.
Narcos is slated to return for season 3 on September 1. In the meantime, take a look at the other Netflix series that will blow everyone away this year.
